This machine uses linear motors and high resolution linear scales for the wheelhead infeed (X-axis) and traverse (Z-axis) mechanism, achieving high positioning accuracy. This machine also includes the newly designed bed intended to prevent thermal deformation, with the highly rigid wheelhead unit (grinding wheel Φ510 mm) fitted as standard, which contributes to higher accuracy and productivity.
